To keep you up to date with my life so far, i have recently been considering changing universities as currently at Bath Spa, all though a good university, I have not been exactly happy there. So I thought of having a look at others doing the same course. Today was Taunton, which is about the same distance from Bath to us. Also they wanted to look at some of my current BA work, to see what stage i'm at and skills i have learnt. It is always nerve-racking going for interviews, mainly due to me not having a lot of confidence in myself, but they always seem to ask me a question that i find hard to answer, so i start stuttering, blushing and end up in a right mess. Lets just say I'm not at these sort of things.
The university looks lovely and the course leader seems nice, with lots of sewing machines and easy access to other facilities, which is a bonus!!
During the interview they were really good and gave really good advice and wanted to make sure i made the right decision in the university and also the course. They liked my work which was good! But it is also very difficult to explain to another university the reason why your leaving that university in the first place without them getting concerned. So i just hope the reasons for leaving one university does not effect my new one....fingers crossed for Kate's failed life!!!
These are the courses that I'm interested in at the university but if i was transferring (which i think will be the final outcome) Fashion Design would be the better option. It does not help that the ruddy fees are going up!!
For the visit I wore one of my favourite dresses which I bought from whistles in 2011 sometime. I think one of my favourite things about it is the large pockets and the fact it is loose and very comfortable.
My boats....well my mother's but now mine are another one of my favourites as i seem too wear them most of my days. Accessories wise I wore a old real snakeskin/metal bracelet that i found at a vintage fair, and if make-up counts as one, i wore a Kate Moss Rimmel bright red lipstick along with my many rings that i seem to have on me daily and can't seem to go out without them. And last but not least my beautiful 1950's squirrel coat, another item of clothing of which you never see me without!
